On the 20th of March 2025, during the CCR's 20 years conference week (“Conservation Research Innovation’’ open meetings), Dr. Anastasia Giakoumaki, Project Manager of iPhotoCult, presented its objective, ambition and preliminary results (Title: ‘iPhotoCult project: Safeguarding the future of our past’).
CCR works on sustainable solutions to protect our heritage, validating innovative scientific diagnostic tools and methodologies developed by its technology partners. These solutions will be tested on the Fountain of Hercules Colossus and other artworks in the Reggia di Venaria, combining science and culture to preserve the past with an eye to the future.
